Privacy Policy
How Adepts Advanced Solutions collects, uses and protects your personal data when you register for Utsav 2.0, the ZoneCon of JCI India Zone 26.
1. Who we are
This website supports Utsav 2.0, the ZoneCon — the annual conference of JCI India Zone 26 — the Zone 26 body of JCI India covering Andhra Pradesh. JCI India Zone 26 is a community body of JCI India and is not itself a registered legal entity.
The registration and payment services on this website are provided and operated by Adepts Advanced Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”), in support of the conference. For the personal data collected through this website, Adepts Advanced Solutions is the entity responsible for your data (the Data Fiduciary under the DPDP Act). For any question about this policy or your personal data, write to zonecon@jciindiazone26.com.
Operator: Adepts Advanced Solutions. Correspondence address: 54-18-37/2A, Ground floor, Radio Colony - 1st line, Lane besides Medplus Pharmacy, Vijayawada - 520 008, Andhra Pradesh.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data we process through this website — when you browse it, contact us, or register and pay for Utsav 2.0. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules under it.
3. The data we collect
- Registration details — your name, email address, mobile number, your Local Organization (LO) / chapter, designation, and any other detail you enter on a registration or contact form.
- Payment details — the amount, category and status of your registration payment. Card, UPI and bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment gateway (see section 6); we do not receive or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
- Messaging details — your mobile number and the content of the registration and event messages we send you, where you have chosen to receive updates on WhatsApp (see section 5).
- Technical data — cookies strictly necessary for the site to function (for example, your session), and, where enabled, basic analytics about how pages are used.
4. How and why we use it
We use your personal data to:
- process your Utsav 2.0 registration and payment, and issue your confirmation and invoice;
- send you registration, schedule and logistics updates for the conference;
- respond to your enquiries;
- keep records we are required to keep by tax and accounting law; and
- maintain the security and integrity of this website.
We process this data on the basis of your consent (which you give when you submit a form or opt in to messages) and to perform the registration you ask us for. You can withdraw consent at any time (see sections 5 and 10); withdrawing it does not affect processing already carried out.
5. WhatsApp and Meta
Where you opt in, we send registration confirmations and event updates over the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. To do this, your mobile number and the content of those messages are processed by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy. We use WhatsApp only for messages related to Utsav 2.0 and your registration — not for unrelated marketing.
To stop WhatsApp messages, reply STOP to any message from us, or email zonecon@jciindiazone26.com.
6. Payments (Razorpay)
Registration fees are collected by Adepts Advanced Solutions in support of the conference, through the payment gateway Razorpay Software Private Limited, a payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. When you pay, your card / UPI / net-banking details are submitted directly to Razorpay over its secure, PCI-DSS-compliant systems and are handled under Razorpay's privacy policy. We receive only the payment reference, amount and status — never your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.
7. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Razorpay, to process your payment;
- Meta / WhatsApp, to deliver the messages you opt in to;
- our email / communication providers, to send you transactional email; and
- authorities, where we are required to disclose by law.
8. How long we keep it
We keep registration and contact data for as long as needed for the conference and our legitimate follow-up, and then delete or anonymise it. Payment and invoice records are kept for the period we are required to retain accounting records under Indian tax and company law (generally up to eight years), even after you ask us to delete other data — see our User Data Deletion page.
9. How we protect it
We apply reasonable security practices — access controls, encryption of traffic over HTTPS, and hardened, access-restricted servers — to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to address any incident promptly.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or complete inaccurate data;
- ask us to erase your data (see User Data Deletion);
- withdraw a consent you have given; and
- raise a grievance with us and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To exercise any of these, email zonecon@jciindiazone26.com.
11. Children
Utsav 2.0 is intended for JCI members and adult participants. This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect the personal data of anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent.
